At Pippa's House, we believe our people are the heart of everything we do. Whether you're just starting your journey in childcare or looking to grow your career, working at Pippa's House offers the opportunity to be part of a warm, supportive team where your development is genuinely valued. But don’t just take our word for it—meet Nia and Yiota, two amazing team members whose stories highlight what it’s like to be part of the Pippas House family.

Nia’s Story: Growing with Pippa's House
Nia joined Pippa's House three years ago, referred by a friend. It was her very first job—and she’s still with us today! Over the years, Nia has flourished, now holding the role of Behaviour Coordinator. In this role, she supports both staff and children by promoting positive behaviours, and she plays a key part in helping children settle, whether they’re just joining or transitioning between rooms.
What’s even more inspiring is that Nia completed her university degree while working full time. With the support and encouragement of her managers, she was able to balance study and work successfully—a true testament to the supportive environment at Pippa's House.
When asked what she loves most about working here, Nia says, “It feels like one big family. I’ve made friends for life.” For her, the smiles of the children, the close relationships with parents, and the strong team bond are what make each day meaningful.

Yiota’s Story: From Team Member to Deputy Manager
Yiota’s journey at Pippa's House is another example of how we nurture talent and help our staff grow. Starting as a team member, Yiota progressed to Room Leader and is now Deputy Manager at our Reigate nursery. Her passion for early years education shines through in everything she does—especially her love for creating imaginative tough tray setups that bring learning to life.
Yiota also brings a unique perspective, as her daughter attends the nursery. Experiencing Pippa's House both as a parent and a staff member gives her a special insight into what makes our nurseries exceptional.
"It’s such a joy to get to know the children and parents. It really does feel like one big family," says Yiota. Her creativity and commitment to the children’s development, especially through activities aligned with the EYFS Three I’s—Intent, Implementation, and Impact—make her an invaluable part of the team.
